STEP 1:
After deciding you wish to have your wedding prepared by Rev.
Maria. You meet with Rev. Maria and receive the beautiful "Wedding Kit" she will
show you. The Kit or Packet will be a complete
outline of your marriage ceremony. You will then customize it by choosing, or writing
(your own words), i.e., vows, ring ceremony, optional reading, your personal spiritual
reflections on marriage.
Contained
within the Kit is the Rose Ceremony (performed for the mothers) of the bride and groom or
some very special person in their life); the Unity Candle Ceremony, candles lit
representing the unification of two families; and the Family Ceremony, which allows
members of the family or children to participate in the ceremony. There is also a page of Sample Vows and poetry.
STEP
#2:
Reverend Maria meets with the bride and groom, prior to the
wedding.
You may request pre-nuptial counseling, (not required). The date is confirmed. Pertinent information is taken down by Reverend
Maria and special requests, writings are discussed.
Services
include: A customized
ceremony, telephone arrangements; including your processional and recessional, contact
with the photographer or musicians if requested. Couples may call Rev.
Maria as often as they like to discuss any aspect or to be reassured all will be perfect.
Rehearsal:
Arrangements must be made at the time of consultation for Rev. Maria to attend. There is an
additional fee for this service. In most cases,
the ceremony is arranged so exactly, that it is not necessary to rehearse. |

ABOUT WEDDING VOWS
Vows are your pledge to
each other. . .
Encompassing what you want
your beloved to know is your
pledge of your love.
~ |
|
ORIGINAL VOWS:
These
vows are written by each of you. Rev. Maria will
incorporate them
into the ceremony process. They
are entirely original.
TRADITIONAL VOWS:
Those vows you have heard over the years, for example:
" I pledge my love to you, and faith. I
will love you in
sickness and in health and until death do we part."
SPONTANEOUS VOWS:
Totally unprepared and unplanned, merely speaking your feelings
at the moment the vows are to be said.
CAREFULLY CHOSEN VOWS
From the list given to you. Using what resonates with the both of you. |
P
POINTS TO REMEMBER:
·
·
You do not have to memorize your vows.
They will be
given to Rev. Maria, who will incorporate them
in the ceremony and ask you to repeat them after her.
·
Or you can memorize them and say them the appointed time.
·
Whatever you choose
they will be beautiful, because they truly come from your hearts. |
